The Abbotsford Sports Hall of Fame banquet runs on Saturday night at the Legacy Building, and tickets are still available.
Tickets are $60 each or $450 for a table of eight, and can be purchased at Hub Fire Engines (3175 McCallum Rd.).
The event will see international rugby star Ryan Banks and rope skipping coach Deirdre DeGagne inducted into the Hall of Fame, and six teams and eight individuals will be honoured with a plaque on the Wall of Fame for their exploits in 2012.
The Wall of Fame teams include the Abbotsford Panthers senior girls rugby, the Rick Hansen senior boys wrestling, the Abbotsford Pilots junior B hockey, the MEI junior boys volleyball, and the UFV men's golf and women's volleyball.
Individual honourees include Maleek Irons (football), Chelsea Jenner (softball), Mandeep Gill (wrestling), Shaun Dhillon (karate), Tyler Miller (figure skating), Tyler Koslowsky (volleyball), Gagandeep Dosanjh (soccer) and Tiffany Matteazzi (javelin).
