A man carrying a gun robbed a restaurant in the 3200 block of Mt. Lehman Road at about 3:20 a.m. on Monday.
Const. Ian MacDonald said the man proceeded into an employees-only area behind the counter and demanded cash from a 22-year-old female worker.
Two other employees — both women, ages 35 and 47 – were working in the restaurant but were not in the area near the cash registers.
The culprit fled on foot north from the restaurant after obtaining a small amount of money.
He is described as a tall, thin Caucasian man in his 30s wearing blue jeans and a dark hoodie that was pulled up around his head.
He was also carrying a black bag that he used to collect the cash.
