Dark Glass Theatre will present a show centered around motherhood on May 3 in Abbotsford.

The Trespass Storytelling series entitled Mother’s Day: Stories of mothers we know, mothers we are and mothers we imagine will be at The Reach Gallery Museum (32388 Veterans Way) from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at darkglasstheatre.com/trespass.

The show features Abbotsford resident Danielle Snider, a producer with the company. Her story begins with “Some women were made for birthing babies. I am not one of those women.”

Storytellers also include Liz Squires, Bryant Ross, Jessica Morgan-Lang, Carol Griffiths and Carter Sawatzky who will tell personal events of heartfelt, hilarious, moving or maddening moments in their lives about mothers.

Abbotsford musician Brennan Sinclair will also perform. Sinclair won the Roots/Blues Artist of the Year at the 2022 Fraser Valley Music Awards.

The evening includes food and a cash bar.

The show is also stopping in Langley on May 4 and Vancouver on May 5.

Trespass Storytelling was added to the Dark Glass Theatre calendar to allow individuals in the community to share stories. They hold storytelling nights several times a year across the Lower Mainland.
