Women in Art, an exhibition to celebrate International Women’s Month, will be featured at two locations this year.
The Kariton Art Gallery (2387 Ware St) will run the event from March 2 to 28. The Open Space Abbotsford (33765 Essendene Ave) is a new gallery space downtown that will allow more artwork to be featured on March 9.
The Kariton Art Gallery exhibition opening will be from noon to 2 p.m. on March 2. The Open Space Abbotsford exhibition opening will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 9.
The show invited those who identify as women to show off their talents. The artists were given full creative control, as they selected the medium and subject and created without boundaries or guidelines.
