Longhouse tour draws crowd

Tour was the latest event in a series promoting World Interfaith Harmony Week in Abbotsford.

Many came out for the tour of the Sto:lo Nation Longhouse on Wednesday.

As part of a series of events in honour of World Interfaith Harmony Week, various spiritual organizations are holding tours of their places of worship in Abbotsford.

Sto:lo Nation invited residents to see their Longhouse in Chilliwack on Wednesday. Twenty-seven people came out to enjoy a talk around a cozy fire.

World Interfaith Harmony Week has several more events upcoming in Abbotsford:

- Dialogue and concert at the Ramada Plaza (36035 North Parallel Rd.) on Jan. 31 at 4–11 p.m.;

- Screening and discussion of Life of Pi movie on Feb. 4 at Clearbrook Library (32320 George Ferguson Way) at 6–9 p.m.;

- Community breakfast on Feb. 8 at Jasbir Saran (2420 Montrose Ave.) from 9 a.m. to noon.
