Cora restaurant coming soon to Abbotsford

New breakfast option coming to Abbotsford later this year

Abbotsford residents will soon have another option for breakfast or early-lunch fare.

Cora, an established Canadian powerhouse in the breakfast restaurant game, is set to arrive in Abbotsford later this year.

According to the Cora website, the location will be 3068 Gladwin Road, near Trading Post Eatery. A Google search hints that the restaurant’s opening date could be Dec. 23, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Cora originated in Montreal in 1987 and now has 50 locations in Quebec, and 130 across Canada.

There are currently locations in Langley, Surrey, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Richmond, Vancouver, Victoria and North Vancouver. Cora also has locations in Kelowna, Kamloops and Vernon.

Breakfast fare at Cora includes: omelettes, pancakes, crepes, sandwiches, fruit and a variety of other early morning inspired dishes. Lunch includes everything from salads to poutine.

Cora has a strong social media presence, with close to 140,000 likes on Facebook. Cora also offers a loyalty program for regular customers, and some locations offer a take-out menu for diners. It’s unclear if the Abbotsford location will offer that service.
