Summer may be over, but foodies in Abbotsford have another opportunity to enjoy a cool treat with the arrival of Common Good Ice Cream Lounge.
Located at 33771 George Ferguson Way in downtown Abbotsford, the new establishment officially opened its doors to the public on Sept. 26.
According to Common Good’s website, local couple Jon and Cass are self-taught ice cream makers and boast that their ice cream is made with local and quality ingredients.
The establishment offers a variety of constantly changing flavours including: mint chocolate brownie, hickory caramel crunch, shamrock shake, beer and pretzels and many more.
Ice cream is available to enjoy at the lounge or can be pre-ordered and picked up through their website. They also offer coffee, sauces, milkshakes and more. Future products available include: ice cream cakes, sundaes and dessert boards.
Common Good has already garnered an impressive online following, with over 3,500 followers on Instagram and over 900 likes on Facebook.
The establishment is open every day from 2 to 10 p.m.
It’s the second ice cream shop to open up recently in downtown Abbotsford, with Banter at Jubilee Park opening in late-July. For more information, visit the lounge’s website at restaurantji.com/bc/abbotsford/common-good-ice-cream-lounge.
