The Ottawa Senators will get a chance to experience the glory that is Highway 1 traffic this afternoon - and hockey fans attending tonight’s exhibition game between the Sens and the Vancouver Canucks in Abbotsford hope they manage to time it well.
The Canucks and Senators face-off tonight at 7 p.m. at the Abbotsford Centre, but the Sens have decided to spend the morning practicing at UBC. The practice begins at approximately 10:30 a.m. and is likely to last at least 90 minutes, meaning the club will probably also face-off with busy traffic on Highway 1.

The decision to have a morning practice was one the Canucks decided to avoid, as the team is already in Abbotsford.
Many people online have been questioning the itinerary of the Senators.

This is so insane I had to double check with Jeff that it wasn’t a joke. It’s not. Sens are doing some kind of sked tomorrow. https://t.co/s0lPsk9N2h

Has anyone told the Sens about the Bermuda Rectangle of traffic delays? AKA - 232nd exit to 264th exit 😬 https://t.co/3ISCzehpDX
