After a strong regular season, the Valley Attack U13 field lacrosse team is gearing up for a deep run at the provincials.

The Attack finished off the regular season in first place in the Pacific Coast Field Lacrosse League’s U13 Tier 2 division, compiling an impressive record of 11-1-1. The team outscored its opposition 127-72 in those games.

The club concluded the season on Wednesday in Abbotsford, with a 13-4 win over New Westminster. Rayne Lang led the way with four goals, with Kade Hoogenstraten and Jake Abrams also scoring two. Other goal scorers included: Erik Levings, Devin Allison, Tristan Cassidy and Tage Pennell.

The team now heads to Nanaimo for the Youth Field Lacrosse Provincial Championships, which run from Feb. 8 to 10.
