Abbotsford's Twisters Gymnastics Club produced a series of remarkable results at its home meet on the weekend, highlighted by a quartet of athletes achieving qualifying scores for the national championships.

Abbotsford's Twisters Gymnastics Club produced a series of remarkable results at its home meet on the weekend, highlighted by a quartet of athletes achieving qualifying scores for the national championships. Ashlynn Skultstad (national novice), Andry Friesen (national open), Nicolas Garfias (high performance tyro) and Zachary Clay (junior) each ensured a trip to nationals, which run in Charlottetown, PEI in May. Additionally, 13 Twisters athletes won all-around medals. On the girls' side, Jadyn Ansell, Paula Melger-Iida, Tamara Skulstad and Shayla Ogloff claimed all-around titles. Ella Palmer and Emily Moorthy won silver, while Lauren Almos and Brienna Gaspar took bronze.On the boys' side, Elijah Horner won gold, while Cole Chalifoux and Brogan Neufeld took silver and Jeremy Gaspar and Charles Haycock earned bronze.
