Andrew Strelezki lit it up as the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds major midget boys hockey team split a pair of games at the B.C. Major Midget League’s showcase weekend at the Richmond Oval.
Strelezki notched hat tricks in both of the Thunderbirds’ games vs. the North Island Silvertips – an 8-5 loss on Saturday, and a 5-3 win on Sunday.
The Thunderbirds (1-3-0) are on the road this week to face the Cariboo Cougars in Prince George.
