After suffering their first loss of the season last week, the Valley Rebels served notice on Friday that result will be the exception rather than the rule.

The local senior B men's lacrosse team turned in a near-flawless offensive performance en route to a 20-3 victory over the North Shore Indians at MSA Arena.

"Our offence was just ridiculous," Rebels coach Jim Nishiyama said. "We were just moving the ball really well. It was nice to watch, and there were times where I couldn't even keep track of the ball. It was just boom, boom, boom, and in the net."

Max Gallant (four goals and five assists), Brian Poole (one goal, seven assists) and Graham Wiedenhammer (four goals) led the offensive assault. Matt Morehouse and Cam Janzen shared the netminding duties as the Rebels boosted their West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association-leading record to 8-1.

The Rebels are back in action on Friday, when they host the Ladner Pioneers (8 p.m., MSA Arena).
