Abbotsford pro golfers Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin both came through with solid performances on the weekend.

Taylor won the championship event on the All-American Tour, a pro circuit based in Arizona. He emerged from a 64-man match-play bracket unscathed, capped by a victory over Danny Wax in the final. The Taylor-Wax match was tied through 18 holes, and Taylor won with a birdie on the second extra hole at Southern Dunes Golf Club.

Taylor earned $15,000 for his efforts, as well as an exemption into the BMW Charity Pro-Am, a Nationwide Tour event May 17-20 in South Carolina.

Hadwin is already a regular on the Nationwide, and he picked up a fifth-place finish at the Soboba Golf Classic in San Jacinto, Calif.

The University of Louisville grad began Sunday's final round two strokes back of eventual winner Andres Gonzales, but closed with a two-over 73 to end up four strokes in arrears at four under par for the tournament.

It was Hadwin's first top-10 Nationwide finish this season, and he earned $27,375 to move up from 68th to 22nd on the money list.

Adam Hadwin turned in his first top-10 finish on the Nationwide Tour on the weekend.
