The Abbotsford Pilots snapped a three-game losing streak last Thursday, but suffered another defeat on home ice the following evening.

The local junior B hockey club got a power-play goal in overtime from Bradley Parker to knock off the Mission City Outlaws 4-3 at the Mission Leisure Centre. It was Parker’s second goal of the game, and Abbotsford also got tallies from Jared Virtanen and Kolten Grieve in the win. Goalie William Latimer, picked up in a recent trade with Mission, earned the victory against his old team, making 31 saves.

On Friday at MSA Arena, the Richmond Sockeyes doubled up on the Pilots by a 6-3 count.

Matthew Bissett notched a hat trick for the Sockeyes, while Parker (2) and Colton Cowden replied for Abbotsford.

The Pilots (16-9-2) visit the Aldergrove Kodiaks on Wednesday (7:15 p.m., Aldergrove Community Arena), and host the Outlaws on Friday (7:30 p.m., MSA Arena).
