The Abbotsford Senior Panthers are the top seed for the B.C. AA high school rugby championship, which runs May 23-25 at UBC.
The Panthers, who knocked off Heritage Park of Mission 37-12 in the Fraser Valley title game last Thursday, are No. 1 in the rankings, which were released earlier this week.
The second Abbotsford squad in the field at B.C.'s, the Robert Bateman Timberwolves, are seeded No. 5, while the remaining teams in the draw (in order of seeding) include Shawnigan Lake, Heritage Park, Brentwood College, Williams Lake, D.W. Poppy and Lillooet.
