West Kelowna's Brock Hoel led from start to finish en route to gold as Okanagan athletes swept the boys triathlon at Albert Dyck Lake.
A strong run from Summerland's Keegan Ingram saw him claim silver. He was followed by teammates and Braden Kersey of Vernon and Connor Hobbs of Kelowna.
The triathlon saw the athletes complete a 500-metre swim in Albert Dyck Lake, a 10-kilometre bike ride on a road course in the area, followed by a three-kilometre run comprising two laps of the lake.
The exhausting event will be followed by the same athletes competing in a duathlon – comprising running and cycling events - Friday afternoon.
