MEI bounced back on Friday with a 3-2 win over the host Sa-Hali Secondary Sabres. The Eagles finished 2-1 in pool play, but then lost 2-1 in the opening playoff round to Port Coquitlam’s Archbishop Carney Stars.

Katie Ward of the Eagles was named to the tournament all-star team.

Victoria’s St. Michaels University defeated West Vancouver’s Collingwood 1-0 in the shootout to win the provincial crown.
