Mamba Fight Night 4 invades the Fraser Valley with a jam-packed evening of entertainment starting at 6:30 p.m.
The final fight card was revealed on Wednesday, with a number of local talents hitting the ring.
The main card features Mamba MMA fighter Liam Stevenson taking on American Hamza Salim.
Stevenson, a 30-year-old Mission native sports a record of five wins and one loss, while Salim has a professional record of 2-2. The match will be contested in the welterweight (170 pounds) division and is scheduled to go a maximum of five three-minute rounds.
Abbotsford’s Gagan Gill challenges American Ian King in the featherweight (145 pounds) division. Gill has an amateur record of 8-2, while King is 9-4. Gill defeated Vancouver’s Dario Sinagoga in the main event of last year’s Mamba Fight Night 3.
The Mamba middleweight (185 pounds) title fight features Vernon’s Kenny Pope (3-4) battling Terrace’s Keenan Kellar (4-1).
Another title fight is set between Abbotsford’s Austin Batra (3-0) and Coquitlam’s Dale Russell (1-4).
Other MMA fights scheduled to occur include: Abbotsford’s Shawn Sitthikoun against Vernon’s Brett Zalapski, Surrey’s Brandon Labrecque versus Konstantin Gaivoronskii of Kelwona, Abbotsford’s Stephane William-Duncan taking on Elijah Twins and Abbotsford’s Blake Bird battling Surrey’s Monty Kandhola.
A pair of Muay Thai bouts are scheduled with Abbotsford’s Josh Wilton taking on Vancouver’s Chris Ryan and Abbotsford’s Simon Chahal challenging Terrace’s Chris Cooper. Those bouts will be three rounds of two minutes.
The event also features a kickboxing match, with Abbotsford’s Austin Brar challenging Coquitlam’s Phillip Liapas in three rounds of two minutes.
Also scheduled is a professional wrestling match, with Midget Wrestlers Short Sleeve Sampson and Prince Akeem performing.
Hip hop artist Merkules is also set to perform during the show.
The ring announcer for the event is Harp Pandher from Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi.
An after-party for the show is also planned, hosted by DJ Hark and hip-hop artist Thugpun.
Tickets for the after-party are $35.
