Genesis medals at B.C. championships

Abbotsford's Genesis Martial Arts competed at the 2014 BC Championships last Saturday, with several key finishes.

Genesis Martial Arts sent their best to the 2014 Brazilian Jiu JItsu BC Championship last Saturday at UBC, and they did not disappoint.

Six Genesis athletes medalled in the kids division, while nine adults found the podium.

Kyle Paterson (GI heavy white belt), Jason Gagnon (GI light feather brown and black belt), Eddie Saunders (Masters GI light white belt), and Blake Crome (Masters NO-GI middle blue belt) all won gold in the adult division.

Roshaan Grewal (GI and NO-GI mighty mite flyweight white belt) and Brogan Bjarnason (GI pee wee rooster colour belt) both picked up gold medals in the kids division.
