Figure skaters from the Abbotsford Skating Club excelled at the Super Series StarSkate Final in Kelowna.
Jaclyn Regier won a silver medal in the silver senior women's division, and finished third in the super series points standings. Mica Kerr (silver ribbon, star 3 girls) and Kate Thompson (bronze medal, star 4 girls U13) also brought home hardware from the event. Other local competitors included Sarah Steberl (10th, juvenile women), Francesca Sandini (12th, pre-juvenile women) and Karman Gill (18th, star 5 girls 13-plus).
The club is staging its annual ice show, Beach Blades, on April 5 at MSA Arena with shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. For more details and tickets, visit abbotsfordskatingclub.org.
