Sydney Fetterly of Abbotsford was awarded a Coast Capital Savings Athlete Bursary at the conclusion of the recent BC Summer Games in Nanaimo.
The bursary recipients were chosen based on significant achievements in sport and education, and most importantly for their leadership contributions to their schools, community or sport associations. Fetterly was one of 16 recipients chosen from a group of over 350 applicants.
Fetterly was a member of the Fraser Valley B girls basketball team, which finished fifth at the BC Games.
