Cheeseburger is officially on the menu at the 2024 Abbotsford Agrifair – but All Star Wrestling isn’t talking about a bun, patty and Canadian cheese.
ASW announced on Monday (April 15) that the former Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling competitor will be competing at Agrifair, which runs from Aug. 2 to 4.
He received the Cheeseburger moniker after being bullied by other wrestlers for his slight frame – he’s listed at 136 pounds. While he was working security at an ROH show, another wrestler quipped that he should eat a cheeseburger, seemingly to gain weight.
That nickname was bestowed on him in 2013 and he quickly became a fan favourite in ROH. He battled for the ROH television, tag team and six-man titles in the years that followed, but was unable to earn gold.
He travelled to Japan to compete for NJPW in 2016 and made several appearances for that promotion. He appeared on the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10, 11 and 12 shows in the Tokyo Dome from 2016 to 2018.

Cheeseburger continues to wrestle on the independent scene and has made more appearances for ROH in the past few years. He has also performed in England, Italy and Spain. Cheeseburger has wrestled in Quebec and Ontario, but this will be his first-ever visit to British Columbia. He also currently trains pro wrestlers.
More wrestlers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The wrestling at Agrifair occurs at the Air Cadets Building and is included with a general admission to the fair.
