The Abbotsford Rugby Football Club has released its senior boys all-city team for the 2014 high school season.

The Fraser Valley AAA champion Robert Bateman Timberwolves led the way with nine nominees: Noah Jensen, Kurtis Kirschner, Gavin Rowell, Kolby Steen, Talus Swanberg, Jake Thiel, Josh Thiel, Gerrin Tramm and Austin Zacher.

The Yale Lions had six players picked, including Noah Bain, Surge Francis, Jason Hignell, Ayden Kirkpatrick, Travis Murray and Ryan Rizzo.

The Rick Hansen Hurricanes placed four players on the squad – twin brothers Alex and Brandon Ho, Jimmy Brar and Vishal Toor – while the W.J. Mouat Hawks and Abby Senior Panthers had three selections apiece. Jordan Goheen, Grayson Marquardt and Thomas Sharpe Madigan were the Panthers’ honorees, while Matt Blair, James Ginther and Leon Lokombo were Mouat’s selections.
