Abbotsford’s Chase Claypool continues to impress in the National Football League, as Sunday saw the 2016 Abbotsford Senior grad catch two more touchdowns to help extend the Pittsburgh Steelers undefeated run to nine games.

Claypool and the Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 36-10 on Sunday, and are the only unbeaten team in the NFL at a perfect 9-0.

The Steelers led 22-7 at halftime, and Claypool grabbed touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters. He collected 56 yards receiving total on the afternoon.

Claypool has now caught seven touchdowns and picked up 500 yards receiving in nine games this season. He currently sits tied for fifth in the NFL in receiving touchdowns and is 29th overall in receiving yards. He also has two rushing touchdowns on the season. He leads all rookie in receiving touchdowns and is tied with Washington’s Antonio Gibson for most touchdowns by a first-year player.

The Steelers next take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Florida on Nov. 22. That game is scheduled for 10 a.m. Abbotsford time.

Pittsburgh then takes on their rival Baltimore Ravens on an American Thanksgiving Thursday night game. That is scheduled for Nov. 26 at 5:20 p.m. Abbotsford time.
