Abbotsford is set to be well represented at the 2016 BC Summer Games.
The host city has athletes competing in every single sport except for sailing and canoe/kayak. There are also several coaches and officials from Abbotsford offering their services to the Games.
The event's participant list was released last week and the following athletes are scheduled to suit up:
Athletics: Joshua Carsience, Jaelyn Dragt, Riley Gall, Cassidy Hutchison, Summer Joiner, Jessica Kampman, Rachel Mortimer and Sheleena Wiley.
Baseball: John Boulanger, Carlin Dick, David Draayers, Gage Goncalves, Kole Jessamine, Kevin Kim, Peter Masztalar, Dayton Peters, Conall Sexton, Joshua Siemens and Parker Wakelyn.
Basketball 3 on 3: Emily Howard, Cassie Hull, Lexie Kampman, Molly Neufeld, Marissa Rodde and Jessica Walton.
Basketball: Brodie Kelly, Lily Borseth, Emmy Curtis, Taylor Ewert and Ashyana Kumar.
Equestrian: Abigail Schulz
Golf: Ryan Alexander
Lacrosse (Box): Tyler Pongracz, Owen Sheppe and Jordon Vance.
Lacrosse (Field): Tristan Ellison
Rugby: Kashish Arya, Tayler Bailey, Hunter Czeppel, Cheye Gustafson, Tausani Levale, Chaylin Roueche, Shalaya Valenzuela and Liriel Yurick.
Soccer: Jasyjot Gahunia, Jovan Gill, Gavin Gill Harjen Sidhu, Puneet Gill and Jayden Gill.
Softball: Nathalie Blattmann, Alissa Collins and Eryn De Jonge.
Swimming: Madeleine Charest, Edward De Jager, Tavleen Grewal, Ryan Han, McKenna Postles, Tobyn Smith and Hannah Unger.
Swimming, Special Olympics: Todd Moore, Paige Norton and Jamie Taylor.
Towed Water Sports: Chelsi McNeice, Zachary Walker and Tori Warner.
Volleyball (Beach): Teagan Boughen, Ethan Bucknam, Ashley Huberts, Aidan Kelly and Karissa Masazzi.
Volleyball: Cole Brandsma, Tage Dhillon, Brendan Funk, Jackson Klaassen, Ethan Klassen, Ethan Loewen, Brendan Visser, Jenna Koedam and Lizaan Steenkamp.
Wrestling: Sahil Bajwa, Sunny Benning, Diljot Braich, Jasdeep Dhillon, Ben Ellis, Juggy Gakhal, Tanjot Kahlon, Gurleen Kaler, Money Khehira, Anmoljit Lidder, Dilpreet Randhawa, Akash Sund, Ravdeep Toor and Jade Trolland.
The athletes will all be part of the Fraser Valley Zone 3 team during the Games.
The Games run from July 21 to 24 at locations in Abbotsford, Langley and Harrison Hot Springs.
