My compliments to Southwest Contracting for their successful completion of Old Yale Road between DeLair Park and North Parallel Road.
The job was done quickly and efficiently. Most of all I would like to complement them for their asphalt paving work.
Yes, the new section is flat and smooth, but more importantly, the transitions between the new and old sections are almost seamless with nary a bump to be felt.
Now if only we could get the city and the other contractors who do roadwork in this town to model Southwest’s exemplary work.
Let’s do away with shoddy work and paved roads that are bumpier than a rutted wagon wheel track.
