Many people in Abbotsford are looking forward to the implementation of the new noise bylaw, myself included.
I would like to see this bylaw include the 140 dB train whistles that are required to blast into the night at all crossings. The City of New Westminster has successfully implemented a train whistle cessation program and I believe most of Abbotsford residents would see a substantial increase in their quality of life and sleep if Abbotsford implemented a similar program.
