LETTER: Over-staffed and under-worked?

City workers seemingly standing around doing nothing

I was going for a walk at Mill lake on Feb. 2 and I noticed city workers setting up to do a job.

I was walking around the lake for more than an hour. There were up to seven workers standing around seemingly doing nothing. They did put a branch into a chipper that took a couple of minutes.

I thought I might be over-reacting, but the next two days five different people mentioned it and agreed with me that it was disgraceful.

I think something should be done about the waste of taxpayers’ dollars.
