Thank yous and accolades to the Abbotsford voters and especially Water Watch Mission-Abbotsford.
The way I see it, we turned a corner when we realized that voting yes to P3 would not only devalue our neighbourly relations with Mission but quite surely result in out-of-control taxes.
We successfully rejected the dysfunctional approach of an imposed dilemma, even if this was coming from possibly well-meaning leaders. Thanks, but no thanks to one hastily fabricated proposal.
The so-called water shortage has been partially addressed by our bi-monthly utility water bills, no doubt. Let’s just watch everyone have more respect for this commodity.
Abbotsford chose to open the door for timely research and sound solutions. The future is bright again, let’s develop vision and support wise options and real choices.
