Yes, prostitution is a “service.” A service that degrades and demoralizes the women who, because of despair and addictions, participate in it.
That, in no way, justifies it as a legitimate profession, and one that should be legalized.
We should instead be reaching out to those involved, offering them help, ways to get out, a better life.
“Keeping them illegal simply makes criminals out of otherwise law-abiding citizens...” Are you kidding me?
Men who are paying for sex, when they could be at home, taking care of their families and being productive members of society?
Sure, don’t put the poor women in jail, give them options.
But please, do the world a favour and put every john away for a long time!
