In regard to an article that was written about three weeks ago, concerning the F35 stealth fighter. Like most new equipment, it has bugs in the system and can be worked out, like the Avro Arrow.
But what I’d like to express is you never send men into harm’s way unless they’ve got the best possible means of protecting themselves.
The Liberals decimated our armed forces.
What most people don’t realize that we just about lost World War II because this country’s armed forces were poorly equipped. If it hadn’t been for the U.S., we would have lost.
Only a fool wants a war, but in this troubled world, it’s only a matter of time when one is going to start.
If my sons or grandsons or granddaughters are called up to do their duty, I want them to have the best possible equipment money can buy.
We’ve been caught twice with our pants down. You’d think we learned a lesson, but obviously we haven’t.
I just hope the man who wrote that article hasn’t got family in the armed forces.
