Fedirchuk, William (Bill)
Bill Fedirchuk passed away at Abbotsford Hospital on Monday April 11 after a courageous 6 month battle with declining health. The youngest child of Michael and Anne Fedirchuk, he was born on May 25, 1930 and remained on the farm in Ethelbert District (MB), a faithful companion and caregiver to his mother. After her passing he lived and worked in various places, Pelly, SK, Thompson and Dauphin, MB, before moving to Abbotsford BC in 1995 to retire. Bill is survived by two brothers, Peter, Toronto, ON, John (Olivia) Montreal, QC and 2 sisters Effie (Bob) Gauthier, Edmonton, AB, Aileen Tapp of Abbotsford and sister-in-law Iona Fedirchuk of Winnipeg. He is also survived and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Alex, Metro, Paul, Jimmy, Michael and sisters Mary, Lena and Pauline. Funeral service will be held Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 1:00 pm, with viewing beginning at 12 noon at Woodlawn Funeral Home 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC followed by burial at Hazelwood Cemetery. The family would like extend their Thanks to all the staff at Abbotsford, Burnaby and Maple Ridge Hospitals for their compassionate care and deep gratitude to all the Friends and Workers who stood faithfully by Uncle Bill.
