Willard Benjamin Swaren passed away on December 3, 2004 at George Derby Centre in Burnaby, BC at the age of 81 years.
Willard was predeceased by his parents Nels and Ollie Swaren. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Howard (Leona) of Kamloops, Floyd (Donna) of Nanaimo, and Edward (Jennifer) of Mission; sisters Vera Peake of Alberta, Emily Buckley of Burnaby, and Leona Holmes-Patterson (Pat) of Mission, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family thanks the caring staff at the George Derby Centre for their dedication during the past 3 years.
Willard was a member of the Lions Club and the Royal Canadian Legion.
A Service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne St., Mission, BC with Reverend Clyde Patterson officiating.
Interment at Hatzic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Willard’s memory may be made to his favourite charity — the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
