BURNS, Walter Thomas
Late of Abbotsford passed away peacefully April 2, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Walter is survived by his loving family: daughter Penny (Bayne) Vance; son Peter Burns;7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister Thelma and many other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth; Walter had many accomplishments but he was particularly honoured by his Order of Canada membership and his fellowship with the Rotary Club. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Lehman United Church, 6256 Mt. Lehman Road, Abbotsford. If desired, memorial donations in Walter's memory to Mt. Lehman United Church would be appreciated.
