Vivian Jean Uhlig (nee Christianson)

It is with great sadness we announce that Hans Uhlig, at the age of 86, passed away suddenly on November 10th at home in Abbotsford, BC. Just five days later, on November 15th, his wife of 15 years, Vivian Jean Uhlig (Christianson) passed away suddenly after a short illness at the age of 85.

Hans is survived by family in Germany. Hans retired after a 30-year career as a baker, but continued his joy of baking, much to the delight of family and friends. His other passion was singing in the German choir.

Vivian is survived by her brothers', Alan Christianson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rodney (Sharon) Christianson of Abbotsford, BC, as well as many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Vivian retired from a long career in banking. Hans and Vivian enjoyed travelling, camping and the 10 years' they lived in Osoyoos, BC held a special place in their hearts.

Their love for one another and their family and friends was truly special and they will be greatly missed.

At their request there will be no services.
