Verna Evelyn (nee Hamre) born April 23, 1915 in Aldergrove, B.C. passed away October 8, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Hartley Dowling in 1980, and her grandson, Darry Scott Johnston, in 2001.
She is survived by three sons, Hartley G. "Lee" (Bev), Thomas C. (Judi), and Kirk W. (Pat); twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Verna will always be remembered as an artist who energetically took on various challenges throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel fo First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555 31 Avenue, Aldergrove, B. C.
