It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Veera Wanti Chawla on April 23, 2021 at the age of 75 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
She leaves behind her husband of nearly 55 years, Jugal Kashore Chawla, as well as seven children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Veera, the fourth of eight children born in India to Diwan Chand and Dropti Ahuja, also leaves behind six siblings.
May she rest in peace as her soul is reunited with her parents, elder sister and two sons-in-law.
