STERNIG Valentina Marie. 1940 ~ 2012
Val passed away peacefully on March 1, 2012. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Peter, children Angela (Mike), James (Jenn), Monica (Ryan), grandchildren Cody, Caitlyn, Bethany, Kristina and Rebekah, sister Theresa (Keith), nephews Hans-Peter (Liz), Patrick, Quinn and great-nephew Simon, as well as many relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Therese and Albert Berger and granddaughter Breanna. Val worked alongside Peter for many years in his construction business in Regina before retiring to “the farm” in BC. She devoted herself to her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by them. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Menno Home for their gentle care of Val. Vigil Prayers March 8th at 7 pm and Mass of Christian Burial to be held March 9th at 11 am, St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC.
