Shana passed away after a 4-and-a-half-year battle with Paraneoplastic Cerebellar Degeneration and ovarian cancer. Shana fought courageously despite the disabling effects of PCD. She continued to laugh and enjoy her family.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Hiebert, her husband, Barry Moss, her son, Jason Moss, her daughter, Norina (Chris) Friesen, her sister, Cean (Ken Manchulenko) Friesen, her seven grandchildren-Noah, Dylan, Marissa, Aliya, Ashlynn, Linnaea and Brooklyn-as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.
Shana is predeceased by her father, Abram Hiebert.
Prior to Shana's illness in 2013, she worked in jewellery sales and design, walked daily, enjoyed gardening, shopping, cooking, baking and travelling to Osoyoos. Everyone who knew Shana knew she loved nothing more than spending with her grandchildren. They meant the world to her and she to them.
Shana loved her family and friends dearly. She will be greatly missed by many.
A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, March 17th at 10:00 am at Heritage Alliance Church in Abbotsford.
