It is with a profound sense of loss that we sadly announce the tragic death of Sarah Dhillon (nee Demmitt) on November 4, 2018.

Our beautiful Sarah, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend was a shining light in all our lives.

Sarah will be forever in the hearts of her husband, Paul, her sons Trevor, Mark and Tage, her parents, Julie and Troy, her brother Shaun, his wife Leanne and nephew Brad and niece Alison, and her stepparents, Frank and Johanne and all her extended family and friends.

Taken from us at the young age of 50, her spirit, her laughter, and her radiance within her peers, friends and family will always be remembered and cherished.

As a nurse in the Maternity Unit at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, she loved her work and those she worked with. Whether she was helping mums deliver their babies, cheering on her boyz (her loving term for her sons), walking her dogs or dancing til dawn with Paul the love of her life, she filled the space around her with love, care, generosity and joy.

On November 18, at 3 pm, there will be a Celebration of Life for Sarah. Please join us at the Church in the Valley located at 23589 Old Yale Road, Langley, B.C. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the maternity department at

Abbotsford Regional Hospital c/o Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation.
