February 20, 1945 - February 3, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Maureen Kitt ( Kirkwood) , of Abbotsford, BC on Thursday, February 3 2022, at the age of 76 years.
Sandy was born in Edmonton on February 20, 1945. She graduated from Bonnie Doon High School. Sandy is survived by her three boys Terry (Misty), Gordon and youngest Christopher (Tegan).
Her only two grandchildren Denver (18) and Macie (16).
Sandy was predeceased by her mother and father, Georgina and Harry Kirkwood and brothers George and Winston. The love of her life for 44 years Ron passed on in 2013.
The joys of Sandy's life were family and friends all being together having a great meal or on the road camping with her husband Ron in their motor home. Sandy always put everyone's feelings before her own and taught her boys about respect and how to love one another.
Sandy's final years have been spent at Menno Home in Abbotsford BC, where she developed many close friendships with the staff and her neighbours.
She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be most remembered for her warm smile and generous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
Sandy will never be forgotten and forever in our hearts and thoughts.
Celebration of life will be at a later date.
