REDEKOP (nee Siemens) Rosella Anna (Rose. Rosella Anna Redekop, 87, passed away peacefully at Abbotsford Regional Hospital on January 22, 2012 with her family by her side. Her faith in God and love of family sustained her through 19 years of courageously battling leukemia, diabetes, and more recently, Parkinson's. Rosella was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her exemplary Godly life will be her legacy to each family member. For all who knew her, she modelled integrity, courage and determination. She is survived by her husband of 67 years; Paul, her daughters, Phyllis (Menno) Froese and family, Carole Martens and her family; five grandchildren, thirteen grandchildren, brothers Edgar (Helen), Menno, (Lottie), Allan (Katie) and sister Reanetta Buller. Predeceased by son-in-law Ron Martens and brother-in-law Ed Buller.
Viewing will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 7-9:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Donations in Rosella's memory can be made to Gideon's Society.
