ROSE NEMETHY

The family is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of a very special lady, Rose Elizabeth Nemethy on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 in MSA Hospital, Abbotsford.


Born on September 17, 1930 in Germany, she and her husband moved to Canada from England in 1951. They lived in various communitites including Prince George and Quesnel, until settling in Langley in 1969 where Rose worked at the Heidi Restaurant and Cedar Hill Hospital until her retirement.


Rose and her husband Tibor "Steve" retired to Abbotsford in 1993.


Everywhere they went she made friends easily and they enjoyed many happy times with their friends at the camp site at Paradise Valley.


Rose is survived by 3 sons; Zoli (Linda) of North Vancouver, Brian (Wanda) of Vanderhoof, and Mark of Abbotsford; 4 grandchildren; Kevin, Adam, Alexander, and Simon; brother Wolfgang (Judy) Scholz of Chilliwack and sister-in-law Joan Scholz of Montrose, B.C. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, and her many friends.


Rose was predeceased by her husband Tibor, her brother Rudy Scholz, and her parents Paul and Anna Scholz.


A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Henderson's Fraser Valley Home, 34537 Marshall Road (at Sumas Way), Abbotsford, B.C. Cremation was held at Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack.


If friends so desire, donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
