April 29, 1959 - July 22, 2018
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Steven Parker in Abbotsford, at the age of 59.
Rob was born on April 29, 1959 in Vancouver, BC. He was predeceased by parents Fred Parker and Irene Shepherd, stepparents Maxine Parker and Ron Shepherd.
He will be lovingly missed by his children Amanda (Craig) Pitcher, Jordan Parker (Stephanie Collison), sisters Carol (Steve) Schmitt, Diana (Jamie) Mould, Terry (Jack) Fomenoff, brother Dave Parker (Kris Szabo), stepsisters Paulette Jonasson and Sandra De Vooght, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Rob worked as a carpenter until his retirement, after which he enjoyed golfing, reading & travelling to see family & friends. His outgoing and generous personality will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 18th at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969-216 Street, Maple Ridge, BC.
