Robert Norman Blais

February 12, 1933 - July 21, 2022
Robert Norman Blais passed away peacefully into the presence of the lord on July 21, 2022, at the age of 89. He spent the last 3 years of his life at Mayfair Senior Care home where he was loved and cared for by his wife Shirley and the compassionate staff.
He was born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 12, 1933, and moved to Abbotsford, B.C in 1967. Norm and Shirley were married for 66 years and enjoyed living close to family and spending the winter in Palm Springs.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, his children Laverne (Bob Funk), Don (Jintana) Blais and Darin (Theresa) Blais as well as his six grandchildren Trevor, Derek, Shaylee, Paige, Miah, Josh and his six great grandchildren Chloe, Mila, Charlee, Landon, Demi and Scarlett.
Norm will always be remembered for his smile and his chuckles. He will be deeply missed as he departs to a much better place.
A graveside service will be held August 13, 2022, at 10:30 am at Hazelwood cemetery followed by a Memorial tea at 11:30am at Henderson's Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the donations can be made to the B.C Cancer Foundation.
