Robert V. (Bob) Douglas, born October 9, 1924 in New Westminster, B.C., passed away on January 24, 2003 at Mission Memorial Hospital after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dorothy; his brother, P.C. (Pat) Douglas of Abbotsford; two nieces, Sharon (Al) Carter of Mission, Lynn (Wilson) Beck of North Vancouver and nephew, Wayne Douglas of Sicamous, B.C.
Bob served overseas in the RCAF during WWII; was a charter member of the Mission Kinsmen Club and of Mission Golf & Country Club. A real estate agent in Mission for 30 years he retired in 1981.
