Peter was reunited with his wife Val on December 10, 2021. He will lovingly be remembered by his children Angela (Mike), James (Jenn), Monica (Ryan), grandchildren Cody, Caitlyn, Bethany, Kristina and Rebekah, sister-in-law Theresa (Keith), nephews Hans-Peter (LIz), Patrick, Quinn and great-nephew Simon, as well as many relatives and friends. Peter is predeceased by his siblings Hansi, Regina and Fritz and granddaughter Breanna.
Born in Bleiberg Austria to Peter and Christina Sternig, Peter immigrated to Regina, Saskatchewan when he was 19 years old. He became successful in construction and real estate development and later retired to his farm in Abbotsford.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Tabor Court and more recently The Mayfair Senior Living for their care of Peter .
