Peter passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31 with family at his side. He was born on Jan. 12, 1920 in Abbotsford and lived most of his life in Abbotsford with his loving wife Ann. Peter served
4-1/2 years in the army in WWII and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 for 61 years. He was also a member of the Abbotsford Fraternal Order of the Eagles as well as a member of MSA Pioneer Assoc.
Peter is survived by his wife, of 59 years, Ann; also by his sister-in-law Kay and brother-in-law Jack Dowding and his sister Kay and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 1:30 pm at the Eagles Banquet Hall, 33868 Essendene Ave., Abbotsford. No flowers by request. Donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
