BYSTROM, Ossian (Oscar) Sexton
passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord on Thur. March 10, 2011 at the age of 93 years. He was predeceased by his wife Hilda of 61 years, brother Terry, sister Alma and grandson Sean. He is survived by children Ray (Betty), Lynda Nemeth, Dorothy (Ray) Hill, Marilyn (Reg) Giesbrecht, Sharon (Ron) Voth, 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and sister Elvy (Ray) Rempel. He was known for his original spirit, sense of humour, and enjoyment of life. He was a lovable, independent character. A memorial service will be held at Abbotsford Baptist Church, 33651 Busby Street, Abbotsford on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road that same evening, from 7-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation to Action International www.actionintl.org.
