Nora May Stowards (nee James) passed away suddenly on January 29, 2003 in Quesnel, B.C.
Nora was born September 24, 1922 in Cantuar, Saskatchewan. Nora began her 57 years of marriage to Ken Stowards in Enderby, B.C. before moving on to Lula Island, B.C. They then moved on to Mallairdville, B.C. for a few years. Thirty nine years were spent dairy farming in Dewdney, B.C. Her last 10 years were spent on a ranch in Buckridge near Quesnel, B.C.
She will be missed by her loving husband Ken and and children; Lenora Savard, George (Evie) Stowards, Edgar Stowards, Darlena (Wade) Fair and Celina-Anne Brewer. Also 11 grandchildren; Mark, Chad, Ian, James, Karla, Jeremy, Keadran, Nikala, Rhea, Jalena and Becki. One great granchild, Sadie. Nora also leaves behind numerous relatives and countless friends.
The service was held at the Quesnel and District Seniors Center in Quesnel, B.C. on February 4, 2003. Those wishing to make a donation in Nora's memory may do so to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
